Alexander Paul Dowerk - Explaining the chromatic bracket approach

Eight fingers. Eight frets. One chromatic scale. In this video, Alexander Paul Dowerk explains the Chromatic Bracket, a technique for Touch Guitar that uses all eight tapping fingers to cover eight consecutive frets. Each finger is assigned to its own fret, creating a compact “bracket” across the fretboard. From there, the fingers can move through the notes of the chromatic scale while both hands work together as one coordinated playing system. It’s a simple concept on paper but it opens up some fascinating possibilities for fingering, coordination, patterns and movement across the Touch Guitar.
