STUDIO 20&2 - Episode 002 (Funky House, Disco, Melodic House & Classic House)

www.mrtommori.com STUDIO 20&2 is TOM MORI’s podcast, a nocturnal space where music, culture, desire and storytelling come together. Built around House, Funky House, Classic House, Melodic House and Nu Disco, each episode moves through carefully selected records, personal reflections, nightlife history, cinema, art, memory, sex, excess and the strange rituals that bring people together after dark. This is not background music, and it is not simply a DJ mix. STUDIO 20&2 is part radio show, part diary, part dancefloor and part confession booth. A place where a record can become a memory, a story can change the way you hear a song, and the night can become something more than entertainment. Some episodes are built to make you move. Others are meant to make you think, remember, desire, question or lose yourself for a while. The common language is always music. From the people who shaped club culture to the stories hidden behind certain records, from forgotten nights to the emotional weight of a bassline, STUDIO 20&2 explores what happens when sound becomes atmosphere and atmosphere becomes experience. No rules about where you should be listening. In the car. At home. Getting ready to go out. Walking through the city at night. Alone, with someone, or surrounded by people. Wherever you are, for a while, we are all in the same room. Music for the body. Stories for the mind. Desire for everything in between. Welcome to STUDIO 20&2. Turn it up. Leave the outside world behind. Let TOM MORI’s music undress you.
