Tiene vo mne (Shadows Within Me) This one is a little different. I wanted to experiment with something new while keeping the dark, raw core of Howls from the Grave intact. I brought together some Japanese-inspired sounds and my Slovak roots, while keeping the song grounded in the dark trap/phonk sound that HFTG was built around. For the first time, the chorus is entirely in Slovak — my native language. I wasn't sure how the combination would work when I started experimenting with it, but somehow everything came together better than I expected. Tiene vo mne means “Shadows Within Me.” This song is about the things we carry beneath the surface — the thoughts, feelings and darkness that nobody else can always see.
