I finally tried Kingdom Come: Deliverance (it was peak)

I finally tried "Kingdom Come: Deliverance" for the first time in 2026, and I was NOT prepared for how difficult this game would be. Kingdom Come: Deliverance isn't your typical open-world RPG/ARPG. It's a mf hardcore medieval life simulator where you get yelled at if you don't bathe, eat, or repair your gear enough. Still, I played for over 60 hours because there was something that made it impossible to quit... Unlike Skyrim, The Witcher 3, or other fantasy RPGs: Kingdom Come: Deliverance throws you into a historically accurate medieval world where you're not some legendary hero. You're Henry; an illiterate chud. You can't survive a fight or accomplish anything without considerable suffering. So, does Kingdom Come: Deliverance still hold up in 2026? Is this hardcore medieval RPG worth playing for the first time?
