Still Battling Depression After the Miracle? Finding Peace in Jesus | Ayis Caperonis | Ep. 161

You prayed for God to bring you through it. He did. So why are you still struggling? Maybe you thought surviving the crisis would bring peace with it. Instead, you’re on the other side wondering why you don’t feel the way you thought you would. At 13 years old, Ayis Caperonis survived a brain tumor and brain surgery. But what came afterward was a much longer battle with depression. Doctors gave Ayis a devastating prognosis for his future. There were things they said he wouldn’t be able to do. They were wrong. But Ayis couldn’t see that yet. For years, he quietly reached for God without knowing where those prayers—or his life—were leading. As his relationship with Jesus grew, so did something he had been missing for years: peace. If you’re struggling to see what could possibly be ahead from where you are right now, Ayis’s testimony offers hope that what you see today isn’t all there is.
