Greenport, NY over Gull Pond

Soaring from the Gull Pond parking lot, I cruise to Deering Harbor and the views of Greenport, NY. Historically, this was a whaling town in its heyday. Now it's a tourist destination with many shops, restaurants, and a ferry to Shelter Island and points further south after the south ferry drops you on the North Haven Peninsula. That leads to Sag Harbor and eventually Montauk Point. The possibilities are endless.
