Song: Preenayamo Vasudevam

Preenayamo Vasudevam is the eighth hymn of the Dwadasha Stotra, a collection of twelve devotional stotras composed by the 13th-century philosopher Shri Madhvacharya. He composed these hymns during the historic installation of the famous Lord Krishna idol at Udupi. The phrase Preenayamo Vasudevam translates to We please Lord Vasudeva (Vishnu/Krishna), and the stotra is sung to worship the Supreme Almighty, highlighting his roles in creation, protection, and the destruction of evil. A humble rendition by Smt.Vijayalakshmi.
