Female Gorilla wants the Silverback's Attention - Interaction between the new gorilla couple

Chiba City Zoo had previously conducted mating sessions between Monta and Momoka on days when the zoo was closed, but on this particular day, visitors were given a special opportunity to observe the process. After that, Momoka continued to actively approach the silverback gorilla, Monta. Whenever Monta displayed aggressive behavior or turned away, Momoka would move away from him, only to approach him again after some time had passed. Momoka, desperate to get Monta’s attention, snatched the twig he was eating and ran off, but she got the twig caught on a stake. It was so cute to see her getting a little flustered.
