Kayak Fishing Tampa Bay | Cooper’s Bayou Getting Baked in the Sun

First trip for Doin’ It Wrong Fishing. I took the kayak out to Cooper’s Bayou in Safety Harbor, fishing the flats around the Tampa Bay area, and spent the afternoon getting absolutely baked in the Florida sun. The bite wasn’t crazy but I managed to hook into a couple ladyfish and catfish while figuring things out and getting the channel started. This trip is pretty much what the channel is about. Real kayak fishing days around Tampa Bay, learning as we go, making mistakes, and hopefully catching a few fish along the way.
