After reaching Dagestan on a cold rainy day, I stopped by a small local convenience shop for warm tea, where a generous local man insisted on paying for my drink! Later, I arrive at my friend’s house in Makhachkala—a stunning 21st-floor apartment in a modern skyscraper overlooking the sea!
