These Daniel Smith Iridescent Watercolors Are STUNNING! | 238-Color Swatchathon

Today I’m FINALLY finishing my Daniel Smith watercolor dot card swatchathon! 🎨 I’ve already completed four and a half dot cards, and in this episode I’m tackling the beautiful iridescent, duo chrome, interference, and pearlescent colors. I go through the Daniel Smith swatch-card legend, including lightfastness, staining, granulation, and transparency ratings, while swatching these gorgeous colors and seeing how they behave on paper. And WOW… some of these colors are absolutely stunning! The Duo Chrome, Interference, Pearlescent, and Iridescent colors have some incredible effects, especially the Iridescent Scarab Red, which shifts between copper and green. ✨ I also share my thoughts on the push-button water brush I’m using—and why I’m having trouble controlling the water flow!
