70s & 80s Shinjuku Disco Night Freestyle Party Mix - Archive #8 - Japan

CHAPTER 00:00:00 Slow Ballade Song 00:04:01 Surfer Disco Song, etc. 01:39:18 Hello Holiday Hit Song Artists : Ray Parker Jr., Lee Ritenour, D-Train, Kool & The Gang, Patrice Rushen, Michael Jackson, Bar-Keys, Chenge, Dan Hartman, Ultimate, The Fools, You & I, Tequila, Yamato, etc. This is a disco mix featuring AOR, Black Contemporary, funk, and "surfer-style" tracks from the late 1970s through mid-1983. The track selection is inspired by the music played at the discos located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the disco building in front of the Shinjuku Koma Theater. From the middle of the video, my concentration waned, resulting in sloppy mixing and noticeable mistakes. Towards the end of the video, I’ve included a few tracks from the "Takenoko-zoku" era—songs that used to play at *Omatsuri Disco: Hello Holiday*. The final song to wrap things up is, of course, "Shinjuku Disco Night" by Yamato. TwitCasting Live 2020.01.05 - Archive Disco Mix by DJ KTR
