Despite the overcast skies and late morning rain, Punch was in high spirits! From morning runs with friends to focused solo play, he was truly "tireless." We also captured the "new life" born on April 20. Seeing the mother tenderly shielding her newborn from the rain was deeply moving. In contrast, we witnessed the harsh reality of macaque society as Chobi faced aggression from others—a stark reminder of their social hierarchy. A particularly poignant moment was seeing a young monkey, larger than Punch, still nursing from its mother. Contrasting this with Punch’s own journey, it's hard not to feel a surge of emotion.
