ISTANBUL WALK TOUR Walking Tour in Pendik [4K]

Pendik is a district on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, on the Marmara Sea and on the Kocaeli Peninsula. This walk starts from Pendik Marmaray stop on a sunny autumn day, and we walk towards the beach on foot from the bazaar. Pendik is actually one of the oldest settlements in Istanbul, according to the latest estimates, it is thought that there has been human settlement here for perhaps more than eight thousand years. It is estimated that its name comes from Pantikion, which means "area surrounded by walls" in Greek. Although it always attracts attention because it is a natural harbor, unfortunately most of the old buildings are blowing in place. The coast is still beautiful and located in parks as in other areas. Places such as Gözdağı grove, Pendik mound and Istanbul park are among the places to visit.
