In this mix, MR JPR takes you on a journey right back in time to the late 80's, when raves were held illegally in countryside fields or abandoned warehouses and the early rave scene in the UK was being born. The pioneering pirate radio stations DJ's were playing Acid & Jackin House, Hardcore and early rave tracks, all of which began to further shape a scene, that would soon take over the UK's dancefloors country wide. Raised in London, MR JPR has been a leading figure in underground and urban music for over 30 years. Starting as a record shop owner, he transitioned to a radio station manager, introducing new artists to listeners. He later became a rave promoter, organizing iconic events that drew huge crowds well in to their thousands. Renowned for his energetic DJ sets and radio shows, you can now step into the booth with him, as he takes you on a journey through his huge personal record collection one mix at a time.
