This original piano composition draws inspiration from the enchanting fantasy landscapes of the Zelda Universe and the cinematic magic of Studio Ghibli films. Its title pays homage to both Djamila Knopf's evocative illustration 'Midsummer' and Joe Hisaishi’s lyrical piece 'One Summer's Day.' I do hope you enjoy it! (I wrote this composition in a computer application called FL Studio (a digital audio workstation) using Keyscape, with all MIDI notes manually placed using a mouse - until it sounded juuuuust right.
