In 2005, I lived in Dublin for six unforgettable months. I remember watching the rain run down a bus window, walking beside the River Liffey, sharing a pint with friends in Temple Bar and cooking simple dinners in a small apartment because eating out was too expensive. I lived with friends from France and Korea. We came from different places and carried different dreams, but around one small table, we shared our food, our struggles and the uncertainty of being young and far away from home. At the time, we thought we were simply getting through another day. We didn’t know we were creating memories that would remain with us for a lifetime. This original Celtic song is about the city I left, the friendships I carried and the younger version of myself who still walks with me today.
