CM - Black Sea - Ukrainian Campaign - Shield o Kiev - 01 - Dawn Attack www.battlefront.com Combat Mission: Black Sea is a hypothetical conflict between NATO/Ukraine and Russia set in the year 2017, NOT a depiction of present day events. The Black Sea conflict extends from June to August 2017. Black Sea's base game concentrates on the fighting in Central Ukraine around the Dnieper River, as Russia advances on the Ukrainian capital of Kiev in a bid to force the Kiev government to come to the negotiating table. Shield o Kiev Campaign The campaign consists of four missions and is intended to represent a period of 4h of an counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces against advancing forces of the Russian Federation. The Ukrainian Campaign is not really difficult and good for new players of the CM series. The map design are in my opinion quite good, they are based on the original settlement maps, and as the overlay ( in my video) on google earth show, quite accurate. They do have problems with curves.
