The next day, I packed my things at the petrol pump and left. The total distance to Luanda was 111 kilometers. And I was heading to a Nepali brother's house there. A destination with a face. A name. A brother waiting.
Along the way, I came across a river. Really beautiful. Calm water cutting through the land. I stopped. Looked. Continued. Then a moon viewpoint — a stunning spot. The kind of place that makes you forget the heat, the hills, and the distance.
I kept riding through the ups and downs. Uphill, downhill, uphill again. The road did not care about my legs.
Finally, I reached Luanda. But it was not what I expected. A huge city. Bad roads. Sand everywhere. Traffic that does not move. The kind of chaos that swallows a cyclist whole. There was a lot of difficulty. Real difficulty.
The brother I was staying with lives near Sapu. He had his own house there. I reached his place, ate, and slept.
📍 Luanda, Angola
111 kilometers. One beautiful river. One moon viewpoint. One chaotic city. One brother's home.
