Hammer finally breaks the 8 minute curse! (AT Arkveld, Solo) | Monster Hunter Wilds

Thank you for watching! It's already September, and the weather has finally started to cool down, so I tried to beat AT Arkveld in under 8 minutes. Sadly, since the final update, Hammer has been considered the weakest weapon in Wilds. I feel the same way, and for the longest time, I thought 8 or 9 minutes was the best I could do against AT Arkveld, no matter how hard I tried. However, recently, I started to feel that it might actually be possible to beat AT Arkveld in under 8 minutes if several things went my way, even though it would depend heavily on luck lol For example, getting the right timing to break AT Arkveld's Chainblades, having the Palico's attack effectively, and having various other things line up at the right time. I also discovered that Brightmoss can actually be surprisingly useful in this fight, which made a big difference! So I decided to give it a try... and after a lot of struggling, I somehow managed to do it! I'm really happy! (By the way, I barely played Wilds this summer... I was busy, but I'm not kidding, the room temperature goes up by 4–6 degrees when I play Wilds, so I just didn't feel like playing it 😅) The build I used in this video is one I often show in my videos, and I only changed a few skills.
