SEIFERT 93 & MILNE TAME INDIA! | IND vs NZ 5th T20I Review: Kiwis Win by 7 Wickets | Pdoggspeaks

The five-match T20I marathon in New Zealand has officially come to a close! While Shreyas Iyer's Men in Blue lifted the series trophy with a 3-2 victory, it was Mitchell Santner's Blackcaps who had the final laugh at Seddon Park. New Zealand chased down a massive target to defeat India by 7 wickets with a full 12 balls to spare in Hamilton! In this video, Pdogg and Vignesh break down the grand finale. We start with India's explosive first innings of 191/8 after the hosts won the toss and opted to bowl. Despite early breakthroughs, Ishan Kishan was in absolute god-mode, smashing a breathtaking 61 off just 32 deliveries (5 fours, 5 sixes)! He found massive support from skipper Shreyas Iyer, who bludgeoned a rapid 50 off 23 balls (3 fours, 4 sixes). Naman Dhir (33 off 23) also chipped in, but the Indian lower order collapsed under the sheer brilliance of Adam Milne! Milne delivered a Player of the Match performance, claiming 4/19 in his 4 overs to restrict India from crossing the 200-run mark, beautifully backed by Nathan Smith (2/28) and Blair Tickner (2/38). Then, we dive into New Zealand's absolute masterclass of a run chase! Chasing 192, Tim Seifert tore the Indian bowling attack to shreds. The explosive opener played a monumental knock, blasting 93 off just 50 balls, launching 11 boundaries and 5 massive sixes! He was perfectly partnered by Glenn Phillips, who carried his destructive form from Auckland to smash 65 off 38 deliveries (8 fours, 3 sixes). The Indian bowlers had absolutely no answers on the flat Hamilton deck. Nitish Kumar Reddy (1/19), Arshdeep Singh (1/40), and Varun Chakaravarthy (1/45) managed lone strikes, but the Kiwis comfortably crossed the finish line in just 18 overs to end the series on a high.
