Take a Boat Tour with a Living Legend | Meet the Artist: Jimbo Meador

Jimbo "that’s all i got to say about that" Meador is the template for the character Forest Gump, written by his friend Winston Groom. Jimbo's entire life has been tied to Mobile Bay. When he was a young boy, the grownups would drop him off on the causeway on the way to Mobile, and he would rent a johnboat, spending the day exploring as far as he could paddle north toward the delta. Since then, he has continued to educate himself about the life in, on and above his beloved Mobile Bay.
