Why is God making me wait? *the purpose &importance of patience*

We look at the stories of Hannah, who poured out her heart to God while waiting for a child; Abraham and Sarah, who waited years for God’s promise to be fulfilled; and the woman in Matthew 9 who had been suffering from bleeding for 12 years before reaching out to Jesus in faith. Each story looks different, but they all remind us of something important: Waiting doesn’t mean God isn’t working. Sometimes the waiting draws us closer to Him. Sometimes it teaches us patience, faith, surrender, and trust. And sometimes, we simply have to keep believing even when we can’t see what God is doing yet.
