Odisha Weather Alert: Depression Weakening, Orange Alert in 8 Districts | Heavy Rain Forecast The depression remains active over South Chhattisgarh and adjoining South Interior Odisha but is gradually weakening, according to IMD Director General Mrutyunjay Mohapatra. The system is expected to move north-northwestwards and weaken into a well-marked low-pressure area by the next 24 hours. Its impact may bring rainfall to districts bordering Chhattisgarh, particularly Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Bargarh, along with parts of North Odisha.
