Presentation – Tidal Habitat Restoration in the Delta and Suisun Marsh (IPM TAC 05.04.2023)

San Francisco Environment Department's May 2023 IPM TAC Meeting. Presenter is Gina Darin. Gina is a Senior Environmental Scientist (Supervisory) with the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) in the Division of Integrated Science and Engineering’s Tidal Habitat Restoration Section and a volunteer/Past President of the California Invasive Plant Council. Gina presents her strategy to prevent the establishment of invasive vegetation at Dutch Slough and Bradmoor Island. Her team uses IPM strategies such as mowing, and they consider off-target impacts on water quality, the food web, and non-target plants.
