Dave's Run - Mammoth Mountain, California Steep Black Diamond Squad Ride

March 20, 2025. First day riding at Mammoth Mountain, California. We spent the morning trying to find our way around the mountain and search for any decent snow since we missed a huge 40 inch snowstorm by about a week and were dealing with some spring-like conditions that left it pretty icy in the morning. We saw riders on what turned out to be Dave’s Run way above us kicking up some good snow so we headed over there. For snowboarders you have to unbuckle and it was a bit windy up there but the views were fantastic. Our first run down the snow was amazing so we convinced the rest of our group to come join us. By this time it had gotten tracked out a bit more at the top and we had a tough time getting turns in so I'm sure we provided some entertainment for everyone else lmao. #mammothmountain #snowboarding #skiing #pov #conditions #trail #squadgoals #steep #blackdiamond #california #sierranevada #beginners #firsttime #noob #noob_to_pro
