The past becomes a prison, with old lies treated as sacred truths and trauma passed down until another life is forced to carry its weight. What begins as an attempt to understand and protect someone becomes a confrontation with the damage hidden beneath the surface. Love is replaced by control, memories become weapons, and the reflection staring back is no longer recognisable. But the cycle does not end with surrender. “Reflections in Ruin” is about recognising the destruction inherited from those who came before, refusing to become consumed by it, and finally rising above the ruins of something that was never truly allowed to heal. The walls can remain. The memories can burn. But they no longer have to define who survives.
