NYXI Hyperion 3 Ultra: I Paid $160 for Switch 2 Joy-Cons. They May Be Worth $100.

I returned the regular NYXI Hyperion 3, and the Ultra is pretty much that controller with everything it was missing: HD rumble (NYXI calls it HD2 haptic feedback), the Home button waking the Switch 2, mouse mode, amiibo, TMR sticks and a magnetic D-pad. At the $160 I paid, though, it's a hard sell next to Mobapad: the M12 Pro I pre-ordered was $119.99, and the M12 HD is about $90. Bring these down to about $100, and I think we have something serious. I'm keeping them, but I don't think they'll replace my abxylute N6 for travel. Would you buy the Ultra, wait for the M12 Pro, go deck style, or stick with your Joy-Cons? ##### Same stuff, quieter than these buttons → https://averagetechnerds.com/nyxi-hyp... ASK ME THINGS Nobody else in my house wants to hear about this stuff, so I'm telling you instead. Ask me about any of it: this thing, handhelds, retro consoles, Switch 2 accessories, PC parts, networking gear, home lab stuff. If I own it, I'll tell you what I've seen. If I don't, I'll tell you that too. Your thoughts matter to me. Drop a comment, tell me what you're running, and tell me what I should look at next. I want to hear from you. #nyxi #hyperion3ultra #nyxihyperion3ultra #joycon #switch2accessories #technerd ##### 0:00 Intro 0:56 Specs and price 3:04 Unboxing 7:24 The rumble 8:47 The Switch 2 connection 9:46 The controls 13:14 The new stuff 14:26 Verdict
