Winter offshore fishing on the American Classic

Come along on a winter deep sea fishing trip aboard the F/V American Classic with Walsh’s Deep Sea Fishing! The trip started with a chilly breeze and a slow morning bite, but as the day went on, the action picked up. We were hoping to find some big Pollock offshore, and the captain worked hard repositioning the boat throughout the day. While the Pollock didn’t fully cooperate, we had plenty of fun catching Cusk eels and I even caught my first-ever Wolf Fish — a major highlight! By the end of the trip we had a solid mixed bag including Cusk, Acadian Redfish, Conners, Wolf Fish, Cod, and short Pollock that were safely released.
