Johnny Osbourne - I Do Love You - Three Kings UK 12" (TK17) 1984

Produced by H. Bisnaught and Norman Dixon for New York based Small Axe Records. Released on Small Axe Records on 7" in Jamaica and 12" in The USA. I Do Love You is a cover version of the 1965 hit song written and performed by Billy Stewart, despite it being generically described as "adapted". Despite the original artist being overlooked by the producers, Johnny Osbourne has done the man and his song a credit with his outstanding rendition. #johnnyosbourne #smallaxe #threekings #hbisnaught #normandixon #jamaica #newyork #reggae #dancehall #rubadub #dub #loversrock #billystewart #disco45
