John "Segs" Jennings of The Ruts / Ruts DC Interview

Segs takes us through how he joined The Ruts, and how they became such an influential and successful band that had several hits in the late 1970s. They were on Top of the Pops with songs such as Babylon's Burning, and Staring at the Rude Boys. We discuss issues with crowd violence, and the problem with the rise of fascist skin heads that led to a lot of problems, and how the band supported Rock against Racism. The group now tour as Ruts DC.
