My Shoes Ain’t Got the Blues - Sounds like Quo

My Shoes Ain’t Got the Blues is an original Sounds Like Quo track with a heavy, straight 12-bar British boogie-rock groove, chunky twin-Telecaster guitars, punchy dry drums, driving bass and warm Hammond underneath. The song is all about letting go, keeping the rhythm moving and rocking the night away with someone special — no bad news, no excuses, just a good heavy groove and plenty of rock ’n’ roll. With a relaxed British male vocal, smooth mellow Fender-style lead guitar over heavier twin-Telecaster backing, and a strong E–A–B foundation, this one keeps driving from the opening riff right through to the finish. My shoes ain’t got the blues — they just wanna rock ’n’ roll.
