Winning Muhammad Ali's recently vacated WBA Heavyweight Championship against Kallie Knoetze, John Tate makes the first defence of his new belt against Mike 'Hercules' Weaver, who had, in 1979, made an unsuccessful challenge to Larry Holmes' WBC Title.
