Indra Jatra is a famous cultural and religious festival celebrated in Kathmandu. It is observed on the fourteenth day of the bright fortnight of Bhadra. During the festival, Indra is worshipped and the chariots of Kumari, Ganesh, and Bhairav are pulled. Lakhey and Pulukisi dances are performed.
