WTEN Commercial Breaks (February 7, 1984)

#5years #restored Taken from the USA vs. Canada hockey match for the 1984 Winter Olympics. This was ABC's third-to-last Olympics to date, and they aired locally on WTEN (channel 10) in Albany, NY. This set from early 1984 confirms WTEN changed its logo later in the year. That spring, WTEN changed everything for a more 80s-ish look, and according to newspapers the changes were completed by May 4 (possibly debuting May 7). I posted a newscast a few days ago with the new graphics and logo in action. (C) 1984 Knight-Ridder Broadcasting; WTEN is now owned by Nexstar Media Group.
