20260807 371 Faroe Islands 110807 Vestmanna Seacliffs Boat Trip SEAL & ELEPHANT [L]

07/08/2026 - Day 4 Friday on the Faroe islands - we had breakfast in our favourite cafe and headed out about 8.30 to go to Vestmanna on Streymoy Island where we had booked a boat trip to see the stunning sea-stacks. we saw their yellow underwater "kites" at that location which generate their electricity. After the boat tour we went for a drive and stopped at Risin og Kellingin viewpoint to see the distant sea stacks. We came across a dodgy house that looked like a drugs den off the beaten track. Drove over Brúgvin um Streymin bridge then we then headed towards the Gjógv Natural Harbour where we witnessed a guy fall over on the slippery path by the water and think broke his arm ! We then went in search of two waterfalls the first Toftafossur, vandfald which i got the drone nobody around it went up and over to see what was on top, it was a big extinct volcanic creator which you could see the river and distant waterfall. After than we headed towards popular waterfall Fossá where a german guy and his son were flying their drone so we chatted with them waited until they finished then flew our drone and there we some hostile sea gulls which you can see in the drone footage. Then after good day headed back for food at Tórshavn Angus steakhouse, after we walked around Tórshavn Fort.
