Drawing from Luke 10:38–42, we learn from Mary, who sat at Jesus’ feet listening to His Word, while Martha was distracted by the many tasks she was trying to accomplish. This message reminds us that although serving God and fulfilling our daily responsibilities are important, our relationship with Him must always come first. We should not become so busy working for God that we forget to spend time with Him. A Mary heart chooses worship over worry, intimacy over distraction, and God’s presence over the pressures of everyday life.
