Blessing of the Fleet & Provincetown’s One-of-a-Kind Community | Ep. 68

This episode is all about Provincetown connections - from family memories to run-ins with local legends - we celebrate the ties that make this town one of a kind! We chat about meeting so many InnDaddies viewers this season (our “DaddyO’s”), bumping into entertainer Bobby Wetherbee, having a visit from a friend (and making him one of our favorites meals - Portuguese stuffed cod). We talk Provincetown history and how the town is changing with lifelong locals, share the story of a chair with a wild guesthouse past, and share the joy of meeting two guests who leave with one of Cory’s paintings! We take a moment to address recent hate incidents in town—and the powerful, united response from the community and police that proves hate has no home here. We wrap up the episode with the Blessing of the Fleet, one of Provincetown’s most cherished traditions, as fishing boats, pleasure craft, and spectators gather under perfect skies for this colorful, historic event. In this episode: • Provincetown’s evolving story through the eyes of locals • Cory’s tribute to his parents on their 75th wedding anniversary • Food, friendship, and Portuguese cod • How a small town stands up to hate with love and solidarity • Stunning scenes from the Blessing of the Fleet 💬 Tell us in the comments: What’s a tradition or community event in your hometown that you never miss? 📍Filmed in Provincetown, Massachusetts 🏳️‍🌈 LGBTQ-Owned | Provincetown Life | Over 50 & Fabulous | Small Business Stories #InnDaddies #LGBTQLife #Over50Vlog #Provincetown #BlessingoftheFleet #GayCouples #CommunityStrong #GayInnkeepers ___________________________ BECOME A CHANNEL MEMBER: We have two channel membership packages with special content and perks!    / @inndaddies   ___________________________ MUSIC: Most music courtesy of the YouTube Music Library.
