The Capuchin friars of Tanzania - with funding from the Seraphic Mass Association of the Province of St. Augustine - established the Capuchin Boys Secondary School beginning in 2014. Under the leadership of Capuchin Fr. Kalist Hariohay - from the first brick of the first building to a completed secondary school of almost 700 students - it is already a top tier school in Tanzania. The boarding school provides a thoroughly Catholic environment and rigorous academic achievement to boys from all parts of the country and from all religious backgrounds. For those unable to afford tuition and boarding, a generous financial assistance program makes it possible for economically challenged students to receive a great education.
