(A2) Cambridge Key English Test 1 (KET 1) Test 2 - Listening part 1 - with transcript This video includes 3 main parts: The test (audio plays twice) The answers The transcript (the audio plays once) It is better to listen twice or three times for each video: The first time: you read carefully the instruction and find key words in the exercise. You will hear the conversation/information twice. After you finish, check the answers which appear later in the video. The second time (if you have at least ONE incorrect answer): listen again and try to find out why the answer is A (for example). The third time: look at the scripts, listen and read along at the same time. Now you can hear the parts that you couldn’t hear clearly before. It is good to learn some new words in the scripts. If possible, you can listen while reading the scripts several times until you can listen and understand all the conversation/information without looking at the scripts. This is how I’ve practiced English listening, which I learned from my teacher and I find it really useful to me. I hope it would be helpful to you as well.
