Nonkululeko Gobodo: The Journey Behind the Achievement

Behind the achievement is a life story that deserves to be heard. In this episode of Don’t Die Unknown, I sit down with Dr Nonkululeko Gobodo to talk about finding her path, standing up for her identity and carrying the responsibility of being a role model. She recalls the mother who recognised and nurtured her abilities, the workplace encounter where she refused to be called “Mary”, and the young people who began looking to her as an example of what was possible. An honest conversation about the experiences and choices that shaped her journey. Available Sunday, 11 October, at 09:00 SAST.
