Welp, a video that was supposed to be a newer high quality recording & my first RSH-10 recording turned out to be the LAST recording of this unit. Nice sunny day, 80 degree weather, and an unexpected double activation (thought no more tones came through). Who would’ve guessed EXACTLY a week later and a few minutes this thing would be evicted from the ground to make sweet love to the pavement. Overall, this unit was fairly loud, had a mean lean, and proved its directional design was effective. In the background you can hear the city’s 1003 & possibly the other RSH (BARELY). I expect a 130 or Eclipse to take over in the coming months.
Idk what’s with me and catching the last recordings of these sirens lately. Thornton, Hazel Crest, now Bourbonnais.
