The Forest Where Spider-Man Was Sent To Die

Forget the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Forget the law, the mercy, and the bright city lights. In the dark, untamed jungles of South America, three of Marvel's most dangerous forces are about to collide in a blood-drenched free-for-all. This is Spider-Man: Long Way Home #1, and it is the most merciless, gritty story Jonathan Hickman has ever written. In this exclusive, high-octane comic chronicle, we dive headfirst into issue #1 of the groundbreaking 2026 miniseries. Reimagined outside of the main Marvel continuity, we find ourselves in a world before Frank Castle was the Punisher—back when he was just a lethal, skull-painted black-ops soldier on a suicide mission. Deep in the green hell of the jungle, A.I.M. has birthed something they cannot control: a Cosmic Cube. But as Frank's squad moves to secure it, they trigger a direct, catastrophic confrontation with a creature thought to be nothing more than a ghost story—the Hulk. As Bruce Banner's monstrous alter-ego turns the jungle into a meat grinder, Peter Parker is dropped into the chaos with S.H.I.E.L.D. orders to retrieve the cube. Who survives when the ultimate predator meets a soldier with nothing to lose, and a Spider-Man trapped a long, long way from home? The Pre-Punisher Era: Frank Castle's brutal militaristic design by Adam Kubert. The Unstoppable Force: Hulk portrayed not as a hero, but as an overwhelming disaster. Peter's Trap: Why this isn't your typical web-swinging adventure. #SpiderManLongWayHome #Punisher #Hulk #MarvelComics #Hickman #AdamKubert #ComicLore #Comicstorian #VariantComics #Marvel2026 #GraphicNovel Spider-Man Long Way Home #1, Spider-Man vs Hulk vs Punisher, Jonathan Hickman Spider-Man, Adam Kubert Hulk, Frank Castle Before Punisher, Cosmic Cube Jungle Fight, Gritty Spider-Man Comic, Marvel 2026 Comic Lore, Comicstorian Style Narration, Hulk overwhelming force, Punisher skull face paint, South America AIM Cosmic Cube, Wolverine Revenge Hickman, Out of Continuity Marvel Comic, Marvel Team Up Comic
