Learning to sell is a skill that can be learned, just like any other skill. It does take practice and study to master it though. Many experts focus on high push tactics to manipulate or corner people into buying something more than they wanted, or even way beyond what they could afford. there is a modern movement though back to a better way of business, and that is relationship building. This is where I have always been in my selling journey, which often did not sit well when I interviewed for big sales jobs and car dealerships. I still embody this in my daily life though, and this is core to how I run our company. Building a long term relationship with a client is important for us, no matter if we are doing a $40 repair, or selling a $4000 snow plow.
