It is principally a trail route on a mixture of hardcore paths and grass with a short section on tarmac. Parts of the course will be muddy, even in summer. There is a start segment, then two loops around the bowl and tarmac, before passing back through the start area and up some steps. Finally there’s a loop of the top field leading to the finish. Please note the route includes some steep climbs and descents, uneven ground and a flight of steps.
