New Western Sydney airport metro station takes shape | 7NEWS

A new metro station is being constructed 25 metres below ground for the Western Sydney airport. The station is more than 50% complete and will feature a 10-metre wide platform to facilitate passengers and their luggage. The 23-kilometre line from the new airport to Bradfield is expected to carry over 7,000 passengers an hour, but a report has raised concerns about travel times compared to the existing airport.
