Volume 25 of the Great North American Motorcycle Tour-Fairbanks to Anchorage

In Volume 25, I ride south on AK 3 from Fairbanks to Anchorage. Along the way, I pass through the beautiful Denali National Park, get a peek at Mt. McKinley, deal with a 2 hour long traffic delay, ride through a forest fire, DID NOT SEE Sarah Palin in Wasilla, Alaska, and finally reach Anchorage. Once in Anchorage, I found more smoke from wild fires, but went for a long run anyway. I also found the Alaska Cycle Center to work on my front fork seals and install a new front tire. I had to buy the new tire down the street at The Motorcycle Shop, a BMW dealership with a lot of great classic motorcycles. Even if you're not intending to buy anything, wandering around The Motorcycle Shop is like stepping into a museum. I spent a few days in Anchorage, eating, getting repairs done, doing laundry...
