20 STRIPED BASS in 2 hours! INSANE HUDSON RIVER STRIPER FISHING! Constant action

Filmed 6/5/25...Had all but packed it in for my 2025 spring Hudson River striper season, when i got the call for a last second invite out with friend Rodney. Raced down to the dock within 25 minutes of getting the call and glad I did, because we had an amazing 2 hours of fish after fish, often 2 at a time. Too many bites and not enough hands. Both live bait and the chunk bite was red hot. Typically most river anglers season ends by memorial weekend but this season provided plenty of herring, and stripers for a solid couple extra weeks than typical for those willing to battle the floating islands of water chestnut. If anyone's curious about the seal in the video, that was filmed by Rodney in the Esopus creek the day prior 6/4/25. This seal has basically taken up residence in Saugerties and Esopus creek and is spotted quite frequently throughout the last 5 or 6 years. Always an awesome sight to see.
