Counting backwards is often much trickier for children than counting forwards. This is because we count backwards less than we count forwards in everyday life, and also because generally in classrooms children do a lot of counting forwards, but less counting backwards. This is partly why subtraction can be more challenging than addition. So, have fun doing lots of counting down from 10 with this video!
