ICEBORNE - 5 MISTAKES I Made When Starting (Steamworks, Palico, etc) (MHW)

In the spirit of Iceborne's upcoming PC release, I thought I'd go over a few mistakes I made look back at my playthrough in hindsight. I cover things like palico equips, not transitioning to a MR armour set soon enough, the general inefficiency of steamworks (specifically my not knowing about the weekly ticket reset) and so on. Of course, many of these became non-issues once I "became a wizard" but I thought I'd warn you in advance. And of course, these are just my personal recommendations. If you want to fam shards and play steamworks for hours, be my guest! What's most important is that you enjoy your playthrough as much as possible, so definitely disregard anything I say if you think you'd have more fun by ignoring it I tried to make this more substantive than all the clickbaity articles that came out prior to IB's initial release - while some of these seem obvious, they are either easy to miss or more intended for newer players of the series, and generally speaking I hope this contained useful information for everyone who watched. I put the tl;dr at the startjust so no one can accuse me of wasting their time haha I have a bunch of guides for systems/exploits on my channel so check em out if that interests you, and have a lovely day! Don't forget, I have a spreadsheet which collects all sorts of data on MHW Iceborne that people ask about a lot - things like the materials needed to upgrade the best charms (e.g. handicraft, expert etc), a list of all the guiding land monster drops and gathering nodes (plus it's searchable), what materials you need for every possible augment (attack, affinity, defence, health, slot, element/status) in the game, etc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
